Aqua Guest House welcomes you to its homepage! Balatonhídvég is located to the south of Zalavár village, in the heart of Kis-Balaton. It was an important crossing and thereby toll-collecting place in the roman era. Currently 3 families live in the old settlement that is surrounded by an intensely protected National Park with a wonderful water world. There are almost 120 hatching and 100 passing bird species in the area as well as otters, roes, boars, deer and a buffalo reserve.

There are several historical monuments, a castle, ruins, wine cellars, fishing, hunting, excursion /bicycle tour/, bathing opportunities in the neighborhood. For children between the ages of 10 and 14 there is the "Matula" fishing camp. In the middle of the extremely variable landscape with mountains and hills there is marshland, and above the ground the opportunity of a pleasure-flight. The international airport of Sármellék is 6 km far with regular flights from Germany and London.

There is a 350 m³ aquarium in the Guest House, which is in direct connection with Zala River and thereby the flora and fauna of the river, which are frequent visitors of the house and the aquarium.

There are 3 thermal baths in the direct neighborhood: Zalakaros 16 km, Hévíz18km, Kehidakustány 25 km. Larger towns: Keszthely /Balaton/ 20 km, Nagykanizsa 25 km.
